Check out the current issue of Metro magazine. Thanks to those who voted for us, Quail Ridge Books received the best book store in the Triangle MetroBravo award!
And speaking of awards, congratulate Nancy when you see her. She's one of six individuals chosen to receive a 2010 Raleigh Medal of Arts. This is the city's highest arts honor. To quote the Arts Commission, she is "... a champion for many local causes, including hunger relief, AIDS and literacy, which include her “Books for Kids” program." The awards ceremony is October 6.
